At Radiance Medspa, we use different types of dermalogic acids and enzymes to rejuvenate your skin from the inside out. These treatments work by killing bacteria, dissolving dead skin and stimulating collagen formation. Some of the pharmaceutical grade ingredients that we use include:
- Alpha/Beta Hydroxy - Glycolic - Kojic - L-Ascorbic - Lactic
- Modified Jessner - Phenol - Retinoic - Salicylic - TCA
Peels vary in strength from very superficial to deep penetration. Although we offer peels in all strengths, our most aggressive peel, the OBAGI Blue Peel® utilizes trichloroacetic acid (TCA) mixed with a special blue base that removes the thin surface layers of aged and damaged skin from the face or body and replaces them with healthier, tighter cells. Peeling typically continues for 7-10 days post treatment. Once the peeling is finished, you will notice a visible improvement in your complexion and over the next 4-6 weeks, your skin will continue to become firmer, clearer, smoother, healthier and more youthful looking. (Patients must be on the Obagi Nu-Derm system for at least 3-6 weeks prior to treatment with this peel.)
